Why Play?

I believe that play is a crucial part of early learning and child development. As children play, they are busy developing social skills, physical skills, and cognitive development that is fundamental to being a successful adult.
They develop emotional intelligence, learning confidence, negotiation skills, how to share, how to communicate effectively, they learn how to empathise with their peers.
Physically we are allowing children’s fine and gross motor skills to develop as we allow them to play and explore! Children are developing their curiosity, problem solving skills, flexibility and verbal and non-verbal skills.
These are all skills that as adults we need on a daily basis to integrate within society. It’s not just play, these are life skills xo-KIDS-PLAYING-OUTSIDE-facebook
